The tournament's final group sees the likes of Belgium, Algeria, Russia, and the Korean Republic fight for a spot in the final sixteen of this World Cup.

Dawning on the golden age of their nation's soccer history, Belgium hope to power their way through the group stages and hopefully more.
Predictions: Wins in all three games


Algeria, FIFA World Ranking: 25
A tight defense and a long distance threat on goal have helped Algeria reach this point in the tournament. Consistency and concentration will be pivotal to Algeria moving forward.
Predictions: Win over Korea Republic, Loss to Belgium, and Tie to Russia




Russia, FIFA World Ranking: 18
Vulnerably defensive in the box, Russia will need attackers to produce goals throughout the 90 minutes.

Thrilled to even be part of the tournament, South Korea will almost certainly depart from Brazil after only three matches.

The tournament's second group of death, Group G will feature matches between Germany, Portugal, Ghana, and USA.

Considered by many to be the best team in the tournament, Germany should have no problem stepping on to the field against these three teams.
Predictions: Wins in all three games


Portugal, FIFA World Ranking: 3
The Portuguese will continue to relay heavily on Cristiano Ronaldo for a good World Cup. The current FIFA Player of the Year is without a doubt the determining factor of this team's success.
Predictions: Win over Ghana, lose to Germany, and Tie with USA


Ghana, FIFA World Ranking: 38
With a defense vulnerable on the flanks, The Black Stars will rely heavily on their reliable attacking force.
Predictions: Losses to Germany & Portugal and Tie with USA


USA, FIFA World Ranking: 13
Clint Dempsey and the rest of team USA will need to throw everything they've got into group stages. Even then, they may need an upset or two to see them survive this group.

Group C features four teams from completely different areas of the planet, with Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast, and Japan set to meet in Brazil this summer.

Unlikely to make a full recovery from his knee injury, star striker Radamel Falcao will be greatly missed by the Colombians. However, the squad certainly has talent to make it out of group stages.

The solid Greece defense will need to work hard to hold off opponents long enough for their offense to generate some goals.

Yaya Toure and Didier Drogba will likely see their side underperform, in signature Ivory Coast fashion.

The reining world champions will be arriving in Brazil hoping to do the unthinkable, winning back-to-back World Cups to match their back-to-back Euro Cups.

The Netherlands, FIFA World Ranking: 11
Relying heavily on Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben for their attack, the Netherlands will hope their stars can avoid recurring injuries.

Chile, FIFA World Ranking: 15
Alexis Sánchez and the rest of Chile's attack will need to convert many goals if they want to offset their weak defense.

Real Madrid's Luka Modrić will cleverly orchestrate the Croatian attack, but a less than reliable back line may prove to be this nation's weakness.

The 2012 Olympic Gold Medalists will face a much higher level of competition in this tournament, but the squad has become infamous for their last minute stunners.
